About our class:

Hello, my name is Karen Freed.  I am excited to be working with this year's fifth grade class!  We are going to have a fantastic year of learning by working together.

About the teacher:

I have been working as a parapro at Sugar Hill Elementary School for the past two years.  I have worked in kindergarten and in a second and third grade special education class.

I have a degree in economics from Michigan State University.  I expect to receive my Masters in Arts in Teaching from Brenau University in 2008.

Personally, I have two elementary school children of my own, Troy and Erica and have been married to Scott for fifteen years. 

In my free time I love to run and relax with a good book.
